40 people for a BBQ is fine....if you have someone who is prepared to cook for 40 people. So bear that in mind.
It's my 19th Birthday in two weeks. I've decided to celebrate with a really chilled out, casual barbecue. My list of people I want to invite goes up to 40. Is this too many for the premise of the event? Is there any way I can decorate the outside to make it feel like a bit more of an event? What time should it start and end? I want to make it like a fun almost country house gathering (I live in a large barn conversion in the country) so should I get like outdoor games or anything, or will people think that's stupid? How can I keep everyone entertained? If anyone has any hints, tips, wisdom, guidance, experience, ideas they want to share about barbecues/hosting then please share, I want this to be a really good event! :)
