I'd talk to your neighbor about it first, your neighbor may end up going out that evening. You also may want to find out what night would be better for him or her, per say if your neighbor is working Saturday morning but off on Sunday you could have the party on a Saturday night. But avoid Friday so your neighbor can sleep. If you go ahead and do this without talking to your neighbor first he/she could call the police and you could even be charged for distruption. As annoying as it may be for you your neighbor may ask how late the party is going for, you need to get a time frame set in your mind. Your neighbor may not mind if it is till midnight but any later would be too late for them and if you took it too late could call police or cause big problems for your party. If you start it at 6 and it goes till midnight I think you and your neighbor should be fine.
If your a teen and your hoping to keep it secret from your parents either way it isn't going to happen because of your neighbor/s so it is best to sit down and talk with both parties, you also want respect and safety with your neighbor. Should something happen at your party you want to be able to know you can look to your neighbor for advice and or help. I am thinking of this from my point of view whether I was a teen or even the age I am now 27 I'd still consider privacy for my neighbors. And anytime my neighbors have had parties they inform us and give us a time frame as to what time it should end at and their usually right. If it is once and awhile which it always is were quite respectful to them and don't bother about it. I hope my advice helps even if it is just a bit.

Right so soon my parents might be going away and i realy want to have a house party, ive got good speakers, ie loud and big but the bass is situated right next to my neighbors wall ( live in a semi detached), i dont want to piss them off but i want to have the music nice and loud.
What should i do???
