Rigondeux is not a many time former amateur champion for nothing. In less than ten fights in the pros, he has proven that he is equal if not better than most of the top fighters at 122 and even 126 lbs. Rigondeux is slippery and defense-conscious yes, but he packs a wallop in his fists. Nonito was only the latest to undergo the one-man gauntlet that is Rigo. There will be many more and that list may include even the Mikey Garcias, Abner Mareses and the Vasil Lomachenkos. Like him or not, Rigo is the Floyd Mayweather, Jr. of the lower weight classes.
The only thing Lara does better us use his lead hand which Rigo rarely does.
Everything else Rigo does better than Lara. His balance is much better and his counter ability as well. Lara is much more suseptable to pressure than Rigo as seen by Angullo and Molina who gave Lara all he could handle. Its extremely hard to pressure Rigo though he is more vaulnrable to a single clean power shot. He eats them much less than Lara but every once in a while his reflexes fails him and eats a clean shot that buckles his knees. Though its impossible to hit Rigo with 2 clean shots
Lara has beaten more top guys but Rigo schooled a guy who was on the p4p list. Rigo doesn't get knocked down as often. I think he is the best boxer out there right now.

I think Rigo is the complete package...
Not many fights for a world champion, but he oozes class.
I can't add anything more to the great answers already posted.
Just peep my motherf*ckin av for the quick answer...
Who do you think is better? Who do you like more? Who has been tested and proven more?
