To beat mayweather you can't be a finesse boxer. You have to pressure, pressure, pressure.
Look the Miguel Cotto fight or even the De La Hoya & 1st Castillo fight (which I feel these 2 won)
Make him feel uncomfortable. Hit him everywhere even if the punches don't connect to his head or body (the shoulders, the arms etc)

If they are to fight, Floyd has got nothing to do but run after Rigo. Rigondeaux beat The Flash but its not in anyway the champion's way. The " He RAN like a chicken !" statement cried by The Ghost's corner vs Floyd was actually more appropriate for Rigo in the bout against Donaire. Its never entertaining but irritating. Guillermo won the bout but not fans.
