Greatest offensive fighter of all time?

Id go with Duran

who do you think is better/ close to him on the list

Rocky Marciano, Marvin Hagler, Joe Frazier, Henry Armstrong, Aaron Pryor were the fighters I have seen who always fought going forward with both hands pumping including in defeats (Hagler, Armstrong, Frazier. Pryor suffered his only losses coming back from semi-retirement due to cocaine addiction but in best prime he was a tireless, offensive dynamo despite suffering flash knockdowns). A case could also be made for the original Toy Bulldog Mickey Walker, Stanley Ketchel, Sam Langford and Harry Greb who were al;ways on the offensive even against bigger, heavier opponents.

I am sorry but Duran was visibly cowed and fighting backing up against the ropes in that crushing face-first KO loss to Tommy Hearns.

No order.

Tommy Hearns

Ray Mancani

Roberto Duran

Benny Brisco

Marvin Hagler

Mike Tyson

Joe Frazie,Marvin Johnson,Ricky Hatton,Aaron Pryor

Depends what you mean, greatest offensive as in they have many offensive attacks and are good going offensive or a fighter who always goes offensive no matter what such as a style of Hatton. A pressure fighter. If you mean a pressure fighter id probably go with marvin hagler when he wanted to be a pressure fighter and not a boxer puncher or mike tyson.

What about Mickey Walker?

Dempsey?

Duran (absolutely)

Tyson?

Stanley Ketchel?

Henry Armstrong ("Homicide Hank") -- I'd have to vote Armstrong.

In my opinion the greatest offensive fighter was Henry Armstrong.

Aaron Pryor is up there with Duran, I think there 2 and 1

Heres who I think are he best

-Aaron Pryor

-Chavez Sr

-Henry Armstrong

-Jake Lammota

-Holyfield

-Joe Frazier

Tommy Hearns. He had it all, speed, HUGE power, great technique, aggressiveness, etc..

I like the Duran pick though. Not only did he have the same violent style, but Duran was cagey and not afraid to punch you in the dick or slam an elbow into your face, which made his offense even harder to deal with.

Hearns (reach, power, punched in combination, hand speed)

Roy Jones ( awkward, triple left hooks, any punch at any time)

Ray Robinson

Mike Tyson

SONNY LISTON.

He had a great jab, he KO'd people with his jab. He could slug, throw combination punches and simply jab the entire the fight. He switched from being a Boxer-Puncher to Slugger anytime he wanted to.

Rocky Marciano, he never stopped punching

Id go with Duran

george foreman I would say tho he was a little slow one flush shot from him would take out anyone.
