Greatest boxer of all time?

Ali is the Greatest of All Time. Sugar Ray Robinson is the greatest pound-for-pound.

I have to go by modern day boxing. I don't have videos of the boxers prior to 1960. Also, boxing became more technical after about 1985. A technical boxer today would make mints meat of a boxer of the past because todays boxers have computers, technology, and nutrition to make them better. In other words, if you could transport todays boxers to 1940, todays boxers would win in the first round, not because they are tougher but because they have knowledge.

I think the Klitscko's are the best ever and would have beaten Ali. Yes, my friends, I think that Eastern Europeans have the best genetics on earth.

Despite my answer on another question today, Ray Robinson.

In my view the likes of Dempsey and fighters from his day are discounted mainly due to the colour bar at the time.

Todays fighters need to go the extra mile too as 4 titles means often what used to be best contenders have titles and then don't fight the linear champ, so the linear champ isn't tested the same.

And todays champs fight 12 rounds a couple of times a year. Older champs like SRR fought far more fights over more rounds. I doubt many of todays fighters would have the records they have if they fought under such conditions.

Sugar Ray Robinson. But I think Ali was the best Heavyweight.

The standard answer is Ray Robinson, but I think Ali is the GOAT. He was the best heavyweight in the best era of heavyweights there ever was. His resume is unmatched.

Ali

Ali-I'm thinking no boxer will ever be as great as he because boxing isn't as great as it used to be.

Robinson, or a lightweight Duran

4. Muhammed Ali

5. Salvador Sanchez

6. Ricardo Lopez

7. Sugar Ray Leonard

8. Joe Louis

9. Marvin Hagler

10. Sam Langford

Harry Greb but he doesn't get the credit he deserves because in this country coons and coloured folks always have to come first. It's called affirmative action.
