I don't think there is any difference. Some of the good brands are dc, nike sb, vans, lakai. I've had a pair of sb(zoom mogan mids) that i skated hard in almost every day of the week, and they lasted 5 months. that's pretty good. same with lakai and dc. I've skated nike for the last three years, and they haven't failed me. but there aren't really any beginner or advanced skate shoes. skate shoes have to have a flat bottom. but that doesn't mean all shoes are good. I had a pair of geof rowley vans and the toes were ripped up the first week i had them. my mom was pissed. suede i think is the most durable. the main factors are durability(unless you have a shoe sponsor, haha), boardfeel and style. i personally think the more expensive the shoe, the better it is--even though my mom won't buy me shoes over 60$. for a beginner though, i don't think you should get too pricey because you need to find out if you even like it.
thats all i have to say.
Etnies and Adio are both great skate shoe brands.
Just keep in mind to avoid very thin and flimsy shoe models. (Like Vans)
TRy and pick up a strudier model that will last
Low cut skating vans. Not the little plain vans but the actual skating vans. Go to a vans store or on their website
The only thing different about skateboard shoes is the bottom of them are flat
Etnies are the best I presonally think
I just got a think skateboard for Christmas, Im pretty serious about getting into it because I wanted a board well before Christmas, but the holidays were convenient. So I heard skate shoes are pretty important. And I want to research before I spend the money. I was looking at a list and both etnies and adios caught my eye because they were endorsed by people like Tony hawk Ryan sheckler, bam Margera, and they wouldn't wear shitty shoes, so what's your opinion? Thanks for reading this long *** paragraph
