The Semi Finals will have Adrien broner vs. Shawn porter because they are the best fighters in the tournament.
I favor them because they are more skilled than their opponents but anything can happen in boxing.
I reckon, 2013 was hit by the plague. It was upsets everywhere.
If it go as planned then I see Floyd mayweather jr. and Adrien broner fighting in the tournament finals.
It will be a competitive fight then most expected but Floyd mayweather will win by UD decision.
He will then unify the titles at 147 ( WBA, WBC, IBF, and the Ring magazine title ).
Projected winner: Floyd mayweather jr.
Sad how we have come down to dividing fighters by their promoters.
I don't even know who most of those fighters are.
7 of the Rings top 10 p4p fighters are Bob Arum/HBO fighters.
Golden Boy only has Mayweather, Broner and Alvarez. All of those are welterweight/superwelterweights.
Aside from that; Bob Arum/HBO rule every other weight division.
Arum also has the future of boxing. The best Puerto Rican Olympian [Felix], the best up&coming p4p Rigo and the best Olympian in boxing history, Vasyl, have all signed to Bob Arum.
Basically; i don't care for a GB tournament. Mayweather is king there, the rest are hypejobs

All of these fighters either fight for Golden Boy/Al Haymon, or is with a promoter who is willing to do business with GBP. So there is no excuse why any of these fights can't being made.
That being said, I propose a mini 147 tournament. It goes like this
FIGHT 1
Adrien Broner vs Keith Thurman (assuming they both win their respective fights tomorrow night)
FIGHT 2:
Shawn Porter vs Kell Brook ("FIGHT 1" and "FIGHT 2" should be on the same card to set up "FIGHT 3)
FIGHT 3:
Winner of FIGHT 1 vs Winner of FIGHT 2 in a unification fight for the WBA and IBF welterweight belts
Fight 4:
Winner of FIGHT 3 vs Floyd Mayweather for the WBA, IBF, WBC, and RING titles
