Gluten free party food ideas?

What you make depends completely on what kind of food you intend to serve.

Are you offering a meal? Or just snacks?

Lots of snacks are gluten free.

this link has a whole list of Frito-Lay gluten free products.

Keep in mind that a veggie tray with hummus and a fruit tray with assorted fruit is always gluten free. Add some gluten free frito-lay snacks and everyone can eat them and the gluten free people won't be singled out.

Fresh fruit, salad and vegetables (carrot sticks etc.) are guaranteed to be gluten free, so that's a start.

READ the ingredient labels of everything! If it has any Wheat, Rye, Barley or Triticale grain product in it, it is NOT gluten free! Problem is that manufacturers think these are fine to add to foods whether they are needed or not. They do thicken mixtures!

It's my daughters birthday soon and she's having a party. I'm doing the food myself although cakes and majority of food will be pre bought rather than home made. I've just found out that 1 adult and 1 child need gluten free. Any ideas and suggestions on what party style food I can but that's gluten free? Are there any "normal" foods that are already gluten free or does it need to be from the gluten free aisle. What am I looking for on the packets that tell me something is suitable other than gluten free is there an ingredient or will it say somewhere in small print ? What should I avoid altogether? Any help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated
