Stevenson has already tasted defeat, suffering his first and only loss thus far by TKO 2 to Darnell Boone which he later avenged with a TKO 6 win over the same Boone. He has racked up 11 straight victories after that loss to resume his winning streak that saw him won 13 previous fights prior to facing Boone the first time. However, he did not looked super in his last outing, a title defesnse against tough Pole Andreij Fonfara whom he outpointed.
GGG has yet to face the specter of defeat as he rolled over his last 17 foes in Tysonesque manner. He has been facing improving quality of opposition however to his credit the lattest being former titlist Daniel Geale whom he stopped in three rounds.
GGG however has not been logging enough rounds to test his durability and endurance especially if he is to fight somebody like Stevenson. That could be a factor if the fight takes the full 12 round distance where Adonis has shown he is capable of strong finish down the stretch.
Golovkin will win if the fight ends via the short route (KO or TKO) but Stevenson takes it if the fight lasts the full route via close decision ( SD or MD).
I like Golovkin but Anonis is too big. I think he should dominate his division then move move up when he's ready. However, Kovalev would KO Stevenson.
If this fight happened I think Stevenson would be favored by most. I don't see GGG moving up so don't see this fight getting made
Pure discrimination. GGG is too small naturally.
Adonis could make 168 until recently, lets say he has no problem making 168 who would you favour between him and GGG?
I'd have to say that GGG (Gonna Get Glass) would grab that glass and make the pimp his *****! That big left hand could easily destroy Golovkins Granite jaw forever though if it landed right. I'd favour GGG 60/40.
