I like Amir but this is a ridiculous thing to say

I am one of Khan's biggest critics on here, however I'm going to play devils advocate for a moment. If he really does struggle as much as he says to make 140 lbs maybe that is part of the reason for his poor punch resistance.

One example, going back a bit is Don Cockell. At light heavyweight he struggled to make weight and was knocked out by natural middleweight Randolph Turpin, at heavyweight though he had a decent run and put up a very brave performance vs Rocky Marciano.

Khan is the king of excuses so maybe weight is another excuse but if he genuinely struggled to make 140 lbs maybe we will see a more durable Khan. I'm not sold yet though, we will have to see how he performs at 147 lbs.

Oh Amir, stick your own foot in your mouth sometimes. I like Amir so much and I think he can be a star but he needs to shut up and then put up.

i keep saying it...khan despite all his weaknesses and vunerabilities has the style to trouble maywether regardless of chin.....anyway what we see in the ring is only a part of a fighter....a fighter has to cope with bureacracy and manipulation and promoters etc etc etc...by the time they get to the ring they are probably at 60% of their ability...slight digression
