IDK. I think teen birthday parties are totally stupid. I'd stick to the BBQ or do something like go bowling. A beach party could be fun, but if something happens, your parents could get sued big time.
I know a 17 year old that just had a huge bash put on by her mom at a local "meeting" place-- a bar and restaurant similar to Applebees. This mom is an anorexic tatooed lizard that married a cop and buys tons of stuff like $300 purses. She doesn't raise the girl, the grandparents do. I just hate people like that--they really don't have much money.
How about hosting a fashion party? Let the girls dress up in their best attire and walk on the red carpet. You can also host a luau party or a pool party.
neon paint war ! you give each person a buck of neon/ glow in the dark paint then you rent a room and they chuck it at each other at it will go on the walls but it looks so cool in the dark and is great fun !

its my birthday soon, and i want to do something fun and unusual for my party.im going to be 14. im not specifically girly so anythings a good idea. preferably something inexpencive, and something that i can have around 10 people to do. previously i have had bbqs and partys round my house but nothing really different. i want to do something cool and fun. every answers is a big help thanks!
