Finger foods for baby shower?

If you are planning this party directly after lunch, be sure your guests know you are not serving lunch and then you really don't need to serve much else. Your cheese and crackers or chips with dip and a fruit platter will be sufficient along with the Birthday cupcakes and coffee and/or soft drinks.

Many people think that anything before 2 means lunch and after 4 means dinner.

Fruit kebabs (mixed fruit on a skewer)

Vegetable sticks with hummus

Cocktail Sausages

Mini Sausage Rolls

Cookies

A big fresh salad, finger sandwiches filled with tuna salad, egg salad, and chicken salad. Stuffed mushrooms, mini egg rolls, fruit and cheese platter, chips and dips, pasta salad. Assorted beverages and a cake at the end.

Mini Sausage Rolls

Cookies.

1. Vegetable platter with dip

2. Pigs in a blanket

3. Fruit salad

4. Cookies

These are all very easy and light. They are convenient to buy and do not cost a lot to make.

Fruit kabobs or parfaits.

Aloutte cheese mixed with diced tomatoes, serve with crackers.

Stuffed tomatoes or stuffed mushrooms.

Deviled eggs.

Veggie tray with a dip like light Ranch.

If after lunch, most won't be too munchy.

Sushi rolls that don't have fresh fish (I think expectant moms non supposed to eat raw fish).

It won't be until early October but I want to have it all planned. We will have cupcakes, either cheese and cracker or chips and cheese dip/salsa. What else? I don't want too much because it will be right after lunch time and only about 15 people.
