As I've said before, If Mikey Garcia beats Roman Martinez, then he wins fighter of the year. It will put him well ahead of anyone else in the running.
It should go to Mikey but I very much doubt it will. No doubt it will be given to Danny Garcia or Floyd.
Floyd would be the popular pick and it wouldnt be undeserved...
but Mikey Garcia may be more deserving because he fought 3 tough foes instead of 2. I also look at Rigondeaux and Bradley for beating guys in the top 10 pound for pound.
Floyd Mayweather Jr is my pick. A dismantling of a top 10 welterweight and an even more dominant performance against the junior middleweight lineal champion.
Guillermo Rigondeaux for me.
schooling a Top 10 p4p fighter and a future HOF and if he beats Agbeko which he should do then he is def my fighter of the year.

Mine are Floyd Mayweather Jr. on the strength of his two victories this year, including a fight income record-breaker versus Canelo Alvarez; Timothy Bradley for his eye-popping showing versus Rulan Provodnikov and Juan Manuel Marquez, Bernard Hopkins for schooling Tavoris Cloud and Karo Murat. Also in the running are Danny Garcia, Mickey Garcia ( depending on the result of his challenge of Roman Martinez for the latter's junior lightweight title) following his smashing win over Orlando Salido and Guillermo Rigondeux (depending on the result of his title defense versus Johnny Agbeko ) following his masterful win over 2012 FOY Nonito Donaire.
