We are going to have family over this weekend....any thoughts on some great finger foods for a football game?

Mini pigs in a blanket

Spinach & artichoke dip in a Hawaiin bread and crackers

Sliders can be burgers or small chicken

Wings, use a couple different sauces

Make queso with sausage, can also add rotel or salsa, and serve warm in a crockpot with chips

Jalapeno Poppers (lots of options)

Mini sandwiches, can even have Subway or somewhere cater

Make some pizzas with English muffins or little Bertoli or Boboli

Meatballs, you can even buy in the frozen section and put in a crockpot - fingerfood as long as you have the small meatballs & toothpicks

Deviled eggs

Nachos

Small wraps with variety to choose from

Corn dogs

All kinds of dips to choose from

Kebabobs of any sort

Egg Rolls, slice in half on an angle

Empanadas, lots of ways to make the filling so you can serve a variety

Cookies

Seafood platter

Mini Po Boys

Grill shrimp with a piece of cheese wrapped in bacon

Wrap a hardboiled egg in crispy bacon

Mini sausage rolls

Cocktail Sausages

Mini Pizza

Scotch Eggs

Pork Pies

Cheese and Biscuits

Mini Quiches

Mini Sandwiches

Roast Chicken Legs and Wings

Crisps

Nuts

Vegetable sticks with hummus/salsa

Large Oranges cut into quarters

Nachos, served warm from the oven:

Tortilla chips on aluminum foil spread over a cookie sheet. Grated cheddar/jack over the chips. Then diced green pepper, green onion, fresh tomato ... some diced jalapeno pepper if you like a bit of zip. Into a hot oven until the cheese melts.

Or homemade guacamole dip (I like to add diced cooked bacon to mind) with tortilla chips.

Scotch eggs are delightful .. they take effort to make, and you have to put in work ahead of time (the are essential hard-boiled eggs wrapped in sausage meat and baked in the oven until the meat is cooked).

An easier alternative is deviled eggs.

Chicken wings .. made from scratch, or buy from the deli counter at the supermarket, or buy a box of frozen prepared wings and heat/cook them in the oven.

Make sure you have LOTS of napkins .. maybe even finger bowls of warm water with a bit of lemon juice. Wings are usually messy to eat.

And provide a bowl(s) for the bones.

Fruit and veggie and dip trays. For the health-conscious

Nuts, chips, popcorn .. all the conventional stuff you would expect.

Usually I just make up the nacho chips heated with cheese/toppings, and put out some fruits/veggies/dip and a bowl of mixed nuts.

But I like to vary it from time to time.

Best dip ever - medium tin of red salmon drained 250 grams chream cheese tomate sauce (ketchup) to suit your taste Mix well in a blender Serve with crackers, carrot sticks and celery sticks

One that's cheap and easy is mix salted peanuts (shelled of course) with candy corn in equal amounts. Tastes' like a PayDay candy bar. Mix a big bowl because it goes fast!

If you want to change it up, I tried bacon wrapped blue cheese stuffed dates for the first time a little while ago. They were insanely good.

nachos, spring rolls, mini sandwiches, shrimp, mini burgers and there are tons more I hope its fun and taste good
