You could contact the people in their wedding party and ask them to record a small message and send it via email or cassette and play it during different intervals. (Those that cannot attend, of course.)
How about finding out what songs they had played at their wedding--or at least for the first dance at their reception--and playing those?
Just a few ideas.
Try to find out what the menu was for the reception and duplicate as much of that as you can.
If you can find out what music was playing that would be a nice touch.
Decorate using the colors that she chose for the wedding.
I hope you have as much fun planning this as they will have with the surprise.
It's my mum and dad's 25th wedding anniversary in a couple of months,
me and my brother are wanting to throw a surprise party for them.
I know the point of a surprise party is that the party IS the surprise, but if possible I would like to throw in a few extra surprises for the night - just incase the surprise gets ruined and just to make the night more magical and enjoyable.
For example, I'm going to make them a video of their lives together so far to project on the night.
Any other surprises like this would be gratefully appreciated, please and thank you!! :)
(Please don't waste my time writing any unhelpful and rude comments because I just can't be bothered for horrible sarcastic people. I'm simply asking for help!)
