I never understood why tipping is such a big deal in the US, call me tight but I never tip. As you know, money isn't easy to come by, if he ignores you wave frantically and yell "Excuse me!" after you feel you've waited long enough. You can always get a friend to grab you a water while they get their drinks too.
Hi i recently went to a dance club for the first time and stayed for about 12 hours (Special event) Im 20 and trying to save so i allotted myself just enough to get in the door and some emergency money.
After the first two hours i felt like i needed water or i was going to die. The only place to get water is at the bar and they give you a small cup of it which is not enough for me. So i kept asking for refills. After a while i went ahead and tipped the man after it looked like he was blatantly ignoring me, and now that particular bartender thinks i owe him a dollar each time he pours me a cup of water
So what do i make of this?
