Does this sound like a good meal?

Excellent - But have you ever cooked any of this before. I would suggest that you try something a bit less hectic if you have not. Just getting the fillets correct takes some practice. But hay you never gonna get anywhere if you dont try!Good Luck and dont drink to much wine while you cooking... Dont forget the Number One Rule 'Mise en place' be prepared...

Filets are too girly. You need rib-eyes or some cut of beef that really tastes like beef. And is big. Otherwise, sign me up.

Omg that sounds like a great meal! I can't even make any suggestions it just sounds lovely! Good on you, I'm sure it will go down a treat

I've got some friends coming over to eat later, as we're having a 'come dine with me' style competition- what it's the holidays?- I get bored. Plus there will be wine, so me and the other lads are probably just going to get drunk.

Anyway about the meal. My parents have gone on holiday so I shall be cooking this alone, apart from the sauce, that the housekeeper will make.

So basically I'm serving

Antipasto (http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/other-meat-recipes/italian-style-antipasti-plate) for starter.

Filet Mignon with a black truffle sauce on a bed of Potato Dauphionise served with Mange tout for the main and then finally for dessert I'll be serving a set chocolate mousse cake with sharp raspberry sauce.

Does this sound good?
