Do you think Chris Arreola is afraid of Deontay Wilder?

I don't think Chris Arreola is afraid of Deontay WIlder but I do think he realizes that Wilder presents a challenges he's already taken. Arreola has already fought the tough up and coming prospect when he faced Seth Mitchell and not to say Wilder is Mitchell but there both in the same boat in a sense, both unproved up and comers looking to make a name.

I don't fault Arreola for wanting to face one of the Kltischko Brothers again because the Klitscko's are the Kings of the Division and Arreola wants to be the recognized as the King.

Fighting someone on Wilder's level doesn't really advance Arreola's career. He beats another undefeated prospect and then what, it would put him in the same boat he was in after beating Mitchell. Wilder needs Arreola more than Arreola needs him.

Arreola is fighting Stiverne for the WBC title, he could care less about Wilder, at the moment. All the Americans are calling out Arreola. I seen Jennings wants him badly too.

I don't know but I guess Arreola is also keeping a keen eye on Wilder who could be the next George Foreman or Shannon Briggs of American heavyweight boxing. Like Wilder today, Foreman continued to raise eyebrows despite his knockout run until he proved that his punch could kayo top tier heavies as well as the so-called journeymen and overmatched foes. Arreola should know that.

Chris arreola is finished! Its like wanting to see julio diaz fight... No one cares except maybe people in his home state of Cali... Wilder is the next american heavyweight to get boosted up and beaten by the klitchkos...

Klitschko's are bigger fight to fry and Arreola would probably loose against them anyway.

I think Arreola would loose anyways but to loose against Wladimir will bring him more money and still secure him a big bout.

Wilder is the one scared of fighting the best hes Ducked Old man Thompson twice and Dereck Chisora twice instead he fights Chisora left overs in a fixed fight, wilder is a disgrace to the sport.

He's not afraid, there's just really nothing in it for him. If he fights Wilder and wins, he gets no belt and probably not as much money as some other fights. If he fights him and loses, that's another L on his record and possible loss of a belt. Lose Lose situation

Wow you're late. Wilder is a hype job and he can't box to save his life. But anyways the new WBC heavyweight champion has to fight their mandatory challenger Wilder because its been ordered and they have to fight him or they'll be stripped.

I didn't think so at first because Arreola is a warrior, but he seems to dismiss any notion of fighting Wilder and he keeps saying he has bigger fish to fry. Wilder even tweeted Arreola and told him that we need to fight because we could bring well needed excitement to the division and Arreola didn't even respond. Wilder is supposed to get the winner of Arreola vs. Stiverne 2, but now there's talk that Arreola wants to unify the titles against Wladimir Klitschko should he beat Stiverne on May 10.

Is he avoiding Wilder?
