It would have been enough for 8-10 normal people, but not 8-10 supersized serves.
Did you let the cashier get away with ripping you off, or did you pay the $49?
Irregardless of that, take this up with the store manager in person, not over the phone.
well you shoulkd learn how many people are going to served
I ordered a ham dinner from stop.and shop on Nov 1, SnS states in the catering brochure that the meal serves from 8 to 10 people for $49.00. I was supposed to get the ham, mashed potatoes, sweet mashed potatoes, string beans, dinner rolls, and pumpkin pie. When I ordered the meal from catering, I was under the impression that the ham and the sides were already cooked, so I told the catering employee that I would pick up the food at 1 p.m on Thanksgiving Day, one half hour before my guests.arrive so it would be hot and I would not have to heat it. She said it would be kept warm for me. I go to the store and the ham is uncooked and wrapped in foil with cooking instructions! Then the catering employee tells me there are no string beans left so I can pick out something else from a shelf of microwave veggies, but none appealed to me, so I took Mac and cheese for another day. The sweet potatoes turned out to be microwave squash, and the mashed potatoes were packaged and microwavable also. The employee packs everything and smashes the pumpkin pie! I go to the register and the cashier mistakenly charges me $75 dollars for the $49 meal! Thank goodness I made a pasta dish as a first course because the ham took a few hours to cook. The side dishes were not enough to serve 8 to 10 as promised, I had four people and the potatoes and squash were gone. I bought Cole slaw just in case the food wasn't' enough and I was right. The ham was enough for 10 people, but not the sides. My son thinks I should complain to the store about everything, should I?
