He took a hell of a beating from Maidana and it could have negatively effected his punch resistance but I think apart form that he's just not good enough at the top level. Before the Maidana fight he received 3 gift decisions.
He will continue to be allowed to receive preferential treatment from judges and referees, and might possibly get more top level fights but I think he will fail again and again.
He's not ruined at all. He needed that beating as a lesson and with age on his side he can still go on to have a great career.
It depends how mentally strong Broner is.
Manny Pacquiao got even worse beatings early on in his career yet he came back.
Joe Louis got dropped 6 times in his first amateur fight yet he came back.
Henry Armstrong, regarded as possibly the best p4p fighter ever, got knocked out cold in only 1 in his pro fights and that was in his pro debut.
It's all about how mentally strong the fighter is.
Too many fighters today think that you can't make a mistake, they give the 0 too much importance & after loosing it they quit SMH
There ain't nothing to be ruined in the first place. Broner's fake.
It depends on broners mentall toughness. if he thinks hes done he might be, but if he can go down in weight and still beleive in himself he could still be a future star
Who cares? Its best that ghetto f*ck never boxes again and sticks to his shitty rap career.
the more I watched that fight against maidana the more of a vicious beating it looks those type of beatings a fighter is never the same maybe, Imo fights that boxers never were the same chavez vs taylor, trinidad vs vargas, salido vs juanma, hopkins vs pavlik, angulo vs kirkland, froch vs bute, hagler vs hearns, vazquez vs marquez 4 fights ruined them both so many others.
