At the Chuck E Cheese near my home in Kansas City, the cost is $11.99 per child to 21.99 per child, depending on the package you want. This includes 2 slices pizza and a soft drink per child and some other things, BUT the cake is Extra (used to be included), BUT you can bring your own cake. Their website gives a lot of information www.ChuckECheese.com. I have had many parties for my grandkids there, but I usually just get there early to get a couple of tables next to each other and the kids walk in. I buy pizza and drinks for the kids, and bring my own cake, and party plates and then buy some tokens for the kids and they have a great time and I am not spending nearly as much money as on one of the party packages.
