Chavez will try and walk through Froch but im telling you, that is not going to work. Froch only really struggles against pure boxers. A pressure fighter like Chavez is going to walk into shots and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets KO'd.
Chavez Jr greatness as a body shot artist is overstated. Who was the last person he actually stopped with body work? Zbik, Vera, and Rubio stood in front of him all night despite chavez jr "hellacious" liver shots.
Froch
Froch would beat Chavez Jnr I think. Maybe even the legendary Chavez beard would have been shaved by the kind of right hand that Groves was hit with the other night.

I'd love to see that fight but you can forget about that ever happening. Chavez' people won't put him in against anyone who poses even a mild threat. I think Froch would grind Chavez down and stop him late.

Of course there is always the chances that the WBC would force Froch to fight with one hand tied behind his back and limit him to only 8 punches per round. I don't know if there is a more protected fighter in the game than Chavez Jr.

Froch would be there both for the money and the win.
I gotta give Froch the edge, a good big man beats a good little man most of the time, and Froch has a size advantage over Jr. I think that would be enough to give Froch the upper hand.

I agree, I think Froch would beat JCCJR and I hope the fight happens next.
Froch is too experienced, has a great chin, better boxing ability and just overall should be able to handle JCCJR.
That being said, it's a GREAT fight and I'd love to see it.
It's a matchup where JCCJR could definitely outwork Froch to a decision based on his volume and bodywork, but I personally think Froch would jab and one-two his way to a close, but clear action packed decision.
Hopefully this is the fight that happens next. I couldn't care less about a rematch between Ward and Froch.
