I've watched it twice to make sure and i felt that George pretty much had control of the whole interview. A lot of people are saying that Carl won it just because he didn't get visibly as wound up as the ringside for their first fight but I beg to differ. Carl kept taking sips of his drink and Groves would just stare at him when he tried to ask certain questions which looked like he was uncomfortable being stared at. Also with the handshake people think it backfired on George and again I disagree because he was clever in pulling Froch across the table in a relaxed way which lured him into retaliating in a way which made it seem to me he was irritated.
Yeah I agree Froch won the war of words, hands down, was expecting Groves in the fight, but Froch always had the big punch, and that's what happened, gotta hand it to him he backed up the trash talk, and took out the trash i guess...P
Carl froch is overrated, he only has a good chin and stamina. He has bad defence, why does he keep his arms at his hips all the time? And very slow with average power.
All his fights have been either guys he fought that were past it like kessler, bute or close controversial home town rigged decisions like andre direll, jean pascal.
"The gloves are off"
Who won this war of words before the real stuff in the ring?
Just for the record I believe Groves will win the rematch either unanimously on points or a stoppage
