Don't try to put on a lot of mass. As a boxer myself putting on pointless muscle mass can be a negative to your boxing performance. Having tons of muscle slows you down and messes up your stamina because more muscle means more oxygen during aerobic movement which means you'll lose your breath quicker and will be tired. Drink a gallon of water a day and drinking green tea speeds up metabolism so you'll defibetly lose weight. Drinking 3-5 cups of green tea is advised.
it doesnt look like you were eating enough calories. what is your calorie count and how long have you been doing this? You may have diet induced hypothyroidism.

Depending on your lifting program, YES. For losing weight, it's mostly light weights with high reps.
you should incorporate drinking lots of water trust me drink natural shakes and supplements. you dont wanna increase your weight and sometimes shakes do that to your body. speak with someone in person or a gym instructor .
Ok I'm a boxer last year I weighed a fat 178 lbs I am only 5'8 or 5'9 so that was fat!! So i got serious with weightloss did standard pushups pullups I had to run since I do boxing and stamina is an integral part and I ate clean then once I hit the 155 lbs range I hit a plateau. I look skinny with a shirt on because I lost a lot of weight from my neck, chest, forearms, but I still have a good inch of body fat on my lower stomach and around my lower back, and triceps. I currently weigh 154 and want to get down to about 147/ 150 lbs of muscle. will weight training help me lose the fat I have while gaining muscle and get me to my desired weight, or will I gain muscle under the fat and look rounder? Remember I'm a boxer I want lean defined muscle not bulky muscle. My coach advised me to lift heavy while eating clean to gain muscle mass witch will make me stronger and lose fat, but I wonder if you guys have any helpful hints.
My diet is this: Wake up eat either a handful of almonds, or strawberries, or 1 banana and Protein shake (six star nutrition walmart protein)
snack about an hour and a half after breakfast : Almonds
Lunch: Mixed veggies with Chicken breast, or tilapia or tuna with brown rice I need carbs for my workouts
After school: Protein shake
then go to boxing gym
that about sums up my day if there is anything I can do to make this plan better please tell me I want to try to get to my desired weight of 147 before the last week of june!
