Can Mayweather take a punch?
He definitely can. Floyd was never kayoed simply because he was that slick and when somebody touches him, he has that decent chin to back up that superb defense. Dont get me wrong, but i dont think Floyd was any tougher than say, Mosley. And Shane was knocked down in the 3rd round by Manny. Pac was a tough SOB himself but JMM knocked him out cold with that perfectly timed right hand that echoed all over the world.
Mayweather will take a punch. Mosley has serious hands. That punch might have knocked out several fighters however it served as a get up decision to Floyd to vary the tempo of the fight.
He has a strong chin, but when he gets hit hard enough on it, he loses a bit of aggression. Against maidana in their second fight he looked like he was in complete control, but when he got caught on the chin at the end of round 3 (I think), he didn't seem to be the same fighter. The thing with mayweather is he has very good defence so if u do get through, u better hope u do enough damage to make him think, 'damn that guy hits hard!'.

floyds chin is never tested... those who were able to rock it are not even ko puncher nor head hunters... but since that chin is always burried deep on that ridiculous shoulder roll, none of them were able to finish it

Mayweather was hit pretty good by Maidana, Cotto even Guerroero and has taken all pretty well.
Doubt it. Floyd got spaghetti legs by just a single shot from Mosley. And it wasn't in full force.
Kind of, he's been able to take punches better becuz he injects pain killers during training and before a fight.
