You can always bring it in your checked luggage. I think it depends on the airline to weather you can carry it on or not. Best bet is to call the airport or airline and asking. Hoped I helped.
I don't believe you will be able to take it on as carry on for a couple of reasona:
-might be too large for the airlines carry on limit
-airport security may see it as a weapon and will ask to go back and put it with your checked luggage

I carried mine on fine, just put it in the overhead bin.
