Believe it or not the reason why Berto and Thurman were both on the
same card was obvious because Golden Boy Promotions wanted to
match both of them up in a Welterweight fight at a later date. Now it's
obvious that Andre Berto is "damaged goods" and he clearly isn't the
same fighter that he was 3-4 years ago. Now who would be that ideal
opponent for Keith Thurman none other than Austin "No Doubt" Trout.
That would be a great match up contested at Junior Middleweight that
WBA Welterweight title wouldn't be at stake.

Let him beat on Paulie Malignaggi while he waits for (assuming it happens) the winner of Broner-Malignaggi.
Put'em both on a doubleheader at Barclays, winner of both fights fight.
Then we can all watch Paulie b*tch and whine and have a panic attack after he clearly loses again.
