B) Matthysse
C) Pistol
D) Dulorme
E) Herrera
F) Peterson
Of the 6 I think that Dulorme is the weakest opponent, which means that is who Broner's camp would go for, but if he is getting his feet wet slowly in the 140 pound division, then it would make sense. At this point, with what Broner has shown at 140, I think that everyone on the list, with the exception of Dulorme, would cause The Problem, great problems. Matthysse and Garcia have the skill and power to punish Broner for his lack of defense, Postol is long, quick, and has good skill. Herrera can give anyone at 140 problems and Peterson I believe, has shaken off the dust from his loss to the Machine. I think Broner will be in tough at 140 as I had said earlier. His jump to 147 was ill fated. He barely beat a fading Malignaggi then got his clock cleaned by a true 147 pound fighter in Maidana, then he had to jump back down into the shark tank that is the 140 pound division. He chose Molina, which is understandable after a loss, but Taylor, I think, was supposed to be a "tough on paper" type fight that turned into a struggle.
Matthysse and Garcia only. Those are the only foes where Broner could get credit and even win another world title.
Any of the are good opponents. Herrera would be a good opponent as he gave Garcia a lot of trouble (I thought he won) and a good performance against him would stand him in good stead for as fight with Garcia.
E or F
Marek Ham?ik!
Broner won't get any credit for beating glass chin Dulorme. Taylor looked better against mayfield than that bum.
All
He should fight Matthysse then Danny garcia.
That will give him alot of hype ( if he won ) before he fight the best 140 pounder.
All are legit opponents IMO.
If I had it my way, Broner would fight Peterson and Matthysse would get his rematch with Swift.
Danny Garcia, period.
Broner is kind of cowardly n cherry pickin right now. Taylor was nothing but a pushover opponent.
