Any fight for Ward at this point is good ,that's if the winner between Bute and Pascal is willing to move down a weight class because the way Virgil Hunter is talking ,he says Andre Ward isn't quite ready to move up a weight class yet.
I don't see any good for Ward's career in fighting the winner of that fight since both Bute and Pascal have both lost to Ward's victim Carl Froch. Froch defeated Pascal by UD some years back, and Bute by smashing TKO in 2012. Though Pascal rebounded from that loss by beating Chad Dawson for the light heavyweight title, he was held to draw and later beaten by Bernard Hopkins. Note that Ward also later defeated Dawson by KO in a catchweight fight. On the other hand, Bute came back from the Froch TKO loss by beating Denis Grachiev but that same Grachiev was KTFO inside one round by Edwin La Bomba Rodriguez! Rodriguez was the same fighter Ward virtually toyed with his last and only fight in 2013! What profits Ward fighting the winner of the Bute-Pascal? The NABF light heavyweight title that is at stake in that fight?
I think Ward instead fight Bernard Hopkins or the winner of the Froch-Groves rematch.
I think Andre ward should fight the Pascal / Bute winner because it will help his legacy. He dominated the Super middleweight division and now he will dominate bigger fighters. He will be the next p4p fighter because he only fight the best.
Pascal is mistaken . Andre ward can probably take him. he is gracious and an extremely good fighter. One of the best today.
Good. It sellls tickets, and makes the fighters good money. I think Ward takes a easy UD though.
Good or bad fight?
