B) What was the last?
Probably around 20 fights I have ordered on PPV.
A) My father used to order PPV fights when I was young, such as Ali-Frazier III and Leonard-Hearns I. The first one that I ordered myself I believe was Tyson-Holyfield I.
B) The last one I ordered was Mayweather-Guerrero, which was the latest one I believe.
I seem to buy any boxing event on PPV, and I'm also going to order Mayweather-Alvarez.
A lot, can't say a number. I've been watching boxing since I was 4. I had no interest in boxing, I just watched it because my parents went to friends house and I obviously could not be left alone but by the age 5(took a while huh) I was an official fan.
A) Don't remember, I think it was Trinidad vs De La Hoya.
B) Mayweather vs Guerrero. If you count the fact that I am going to watch the remaining PPV's this year, then the last would be Pacquiao vs Rios
BTW, this assuming you mean WATCHED, if you mean BOUGHT then 0. Fortunately I've never bought a boxing PPV. I need to give 10 bucks to my neighbor to watch Mayweather vs Canelo but he's gonna throw a small party. He buys everything as long the guest give the cash so he can buy the event.
I haven't bought a mayweather pay per view since he fought Hatton. What for? He stinks all of his opponents out. No point in watching a runner.
I bought a few tickets to this fight though because I feel Canelo does stand a good chance despite what people say & I really want to see the Mattyhsse & Garcia fight.
I started watching boxing in the late 90s & I'd look at a lot of Oscar De La Hoya & Naseem Hamed on PPV.
The first fight paid for out of my own wallet was
Joe Calzaghe vs Mikkel Kessler
What a great fight, two undefeated champs (83-0 between them) not afraid to fight each other in a huge unification bout, never seen 2 fighters put on such a high standerd of boxing before, in Europe it was hyped and given a lot more media attention and tv coverage than mayweather-del a Hoya or mayweather-hatton. Best Supermiddle weight fight of all time.
Last fight I paid for was Haye vs Klitschko,
The exact opposite of the first fight I mentioned, Wlad came to fight, haye hid for 12 rounds. Haye was scared of klitschko and because of that its one of the worst fights I've ever watched and put me of PPV on the future, and I actually believed it would be one of the all time great heavyweight fights, lol.
Altogether I've paid for about 20 fights. Mainly the British fighters as that is my home nation but I've happily paid for Ward and Broner as I love that slick style of boxing,
i've only ever paid for one PPV that was froch vs kessler 2 .
it's a bit different in the uk i pay £10 ($16) a month for boxnation and with that you get most fights from the US including big PPV fights like mayweather and manny fights as part of the £10 a month .
i don't think i would pay for many PPV fights and definitely not $70 to watch it on tv l'd rather spend $150 and go to the fight and see it live rather than on tv .
1. Chavez vs Camacho
2. Mayweather vs Guerrero
I lost count on how many I've bought
A) What was the 1st?
B) What was the last?
