Ruben categorically denies that that is him. He says due to problems as a youth he never went pro. I tend to believe him. I understand genes can skip generations etc but if he was THAT bad how can his son be SO good? I don't think that's him.

it seems ruben managed to get under team mayweather's skin so badly that they went home and boxrec'ed his name and got excited when they found a guy with a similar name and a bad record. only problem is that it was the wrong ruben guerrero, because like jeremy said, ruben never turned pro.

I dont like floyd sr however i've seen him fight, that sugar ray leonard fight...He is not good but not bad either however i think he is bigger than guerrero...I like ruben guerrero man...
