I will say this though, from all the reports and what both sides are constantly saying in the media, the fight at least SEEMS closer to being made than it has since 2010.
So I'm still pretty skeptical but not as much as usual. Let's hope for the best I guess...

It's easy for a Yes-man like Sam to say that Floyd wants the fight. Until Floyd signs on the dotted line, Sam's words are just hot air. Al Haymon is a very smart man but he surrounds himself with yes-men and Sam is but a long line of them.

This is the closest that the fight has come to happening since the negotiations back in 2010. Mote of a chnce of it happening now though, as Bob Arum is willing to step aside, the drug testing issue is gone, the boxing cold war is over, and there is a lot more money being offered on the table by a UAE group. If it doesn't happen now, I don't think it ever will happen.
Did he say it or did Sam Watson just heard it? Floyd has told his own father to shut the F*** up, dismissed his friend 50 cent and boxing commentator Stephen Smith when Pacquiao's name was mentioned, so why would anyone believe this Sam Watson? Really?
He want Pacquiao but not to fight him. He want him off his back. If he really want to fight him, he could have done it a long time ago and not make these excuses and alibis that I lost track how many. Word coming from Floyd can not be treated seriously. he have a very bad habit of contradicting himself.
