Birthday party at a park?

It's a cute idea and I don't see what's wrong with celebrating it there as long as you clean up.

I looks like you need to rent the shelter if you want to use it. Looking at Google maps, I don't see many picnic tables.

From the napervilleparks.org website: Fox Hill Greens has a shelter. If you want to use it you must reserve and pay a rental fee:

The Naperville Park District has a variety of indoor and outdoor venues that may be reserved for special events. Applicants are required to meet or fulfill the following requirements:

1. Provide proof of residency, or $50 non-resident application fee.

2. Renter must be 21 years of age.

3. One chaperone over the age of 21 years must be present for every ten minors.

4. A completed Facility Rental Permit Application.

5. Payment in full and damage deposit for outdoor rentals is due at the time of booking. The renter of Community Hall or the Barn must pay the deposit and 50% of the rental fees. All renters of other indoor space must pay the full amount at time of booking. The balance will be due 21 days prior to the booking. Indoor rentals must end at midnight; outdoor rentals must end one hour after dusk.

6. Damage deposits vary by facility and are listed below. The deposits range from $100-$300.

7. All rentals are subject to Naperville Park District Ordinance #641.

8. Indoor space renters that will be serving alcohol must contract food and beverage with one of our preferred caterers.

9. Applicant is required to attend the whole event and closing inspection.
