I don't like that Donaire blamed his Shoulder and claimed that he didn't watch tape of Rigo. Too many excuses even if it has some truth to it, it just seems to be trying to take credit from Rigo.
I thought Rigondeaux would bring it i the early rounds and lose by tko in the later rounds or by ud. I was pleasantly surprised at the result. I'm just relieved and happy to see someone on the same level and give him some competition. After breezing past guys like Arce, Montiel and Nishioka it was getting boring. Not that it was Nonito's fault or anything but it didn't seem like there would be any competition for the guy.
I am stunned, I didn't expect Rigondeaux to pull it off, I though Donaire was a lock.
