Your routine seems decent as long as you don't become too stiff.
If you're trying to be a pro boxer and you weigh less than 200lbs try to do limited weight lifting because doing weights bulks you up which will force you to fight in higher weight classes.
If you just want to be able to defend yourself than do as many weights as you want as long as you don't become muscle-strained which are the people who basically can't touch their elbows together because of how buff they are.
Bob Sapp is a recent fighter who is muscle-strained.
Yes, of course. Weight training is good for any sport. The thing is, you gotta lift according to the needs of your particular sport, in this case, boxing. For instance, you don't need to lift too heavy for boxing, just moderate weight and higher reps. For good measure, consult fitness experts on this.
No. Weights will make you slow, messed up stamina, and you'll need more oxygen which will cause you to gas. The only thing it gets is strenght. Weights and boxing don't mix unless it's below 15 lbs.
Providing u don't get too bulky, weightlifting is good. The stronger u r, the more power you'll have
Old school says no..................ropes, bands, calestenics are all better.............for flexibility.
