The general rule of thumb is to invite a lot of people way ahead of time. Usually, for every 10 people you invite, only 1 person will come...which has proven itself to be true in this situation lol. Don't sweat it. Tiny parties are just as fun if you're with fun people/close friends. Since it's only 3 people, maybe you could ask your parents if you could turn it into a sleepover. You also aren't confined to the house when it's a small group. There was only about six of us at my friend's graduation party last summer, so on a whim, we decided to go out for frozen yogurt and mini-golf. That would not have worked with a group of +20.
Doesn't matter if there is 4 of you or 14, it is how you make it kid.
Camean, yes it's a rule of thumb, I have seen those rule of thumbs backfire and get out of hand.
So I'm turning 13 next weekend and having a party at my house. I invited 9 people but only 3 can come. It's really bumming me out that the party is so tiny. Can I do anything to make it better and are tiny parties better than bigger ones?
