and no im not a pro and i dont think im going to grind
I'm not sure about the boards, but their shoes are junk. I got a pair and liked them so I bought another. The first pair were worn looking in about 2 months, and I don't wear the same shoes all the time. The second pair were tearing after a week. I don't skate board, so I'm easy on shoes, I just liked the style. They were quite honestly the worst quality shoes I've ever bought. If they can't make decent quality shoes, I doubt their boards are much better. My kid has a Emerica which has stood up very well.
Apparently Element boards break very easily and don't last long, I heard someone snapped their tail just by doing an Ollie in two weeks of having it. If you want something that is resistant and will last long go for something like an Enjoi if you want something that is resistant and good go for a Girl or Chocolate.
I was going to buy an Element complete for 84 the graphics are cool and everything and they are super light weight but they don't last so ill probably get something else.
With skateboarding its really all personal preference. But it sounds like your a beginner and your just gonna need to see what you like. Element was one of the first brands i skated and they were not bad. It should do good for a beginner skateboarder
Graphic decks are NOT worth it, no matter how sexy and who's signature model it is. Purchase Blank decks in packs of 10 on Ebay for around 150 bucks (Including shipping!!!). That is a 1/6 of the price you'd pay for graphic decks. Believe me, it's a wise choice. You will save a ton of money and be happy that you can instantly access your stock pile when one breaks instead of making a trip to the shop or wait for it to ship online.
im going to buy a complete element skateboard for £100, is it good and resistant?
