A high school graduation party is a big deal, not only to the parents but also for the graduating student. It’s a rite of passage that signals the end of adolescence and the beginning of the next chapter. This party can be the last hooray before adulthood so let them be a kid one last time with some of these fun party games.
1. History- Many things have occurred in the four years you’ve been in high school but who thinks they know all the events of some of the most meaningful things that happened with just the date? Pull out the old calendars and brose through to find some of the dates of these important events. Have people take guesses as to what event happened. You may be surprise with what you end up reminiscing about.
2. Wise Guise- Some people’s pictures are obvious to some and leave others clueless as to who it could be. Could you match someone’s baby picture, grade school picture or other childhood pictures to the person they are today? Give each person a picture of a person from when they were in school and have them find the person it belongs to. Each picture has a story behind it.
3. Ransom- Imagine that your graduation gifts were seized and are being held for ransom! The only way to retrieve them is by doing what the ransom note says. Follow the clues and riddles to unlock the mystery of where your cherished treasure is hidden. Clues and riddles can pertain to things related to the graduated student.
4. I Mustache You Something – Find one of your grads favorite or least favorite teachers pictures and have it enlarged to life size. Find a package of different shaped mustaches for each person playing to use. Have them blindly try to place the mustache on the teacher.
5. Amnesia – Each person at the party will be given the name of one of the high school grad’s teachers from the last four years. Each person has no idea which teacher they so they will have to ask others for help. They each get 10 questions to ask before they make their predictions out loud as to what teacher they think they are.
