my sons 1st party we just had family and close friends. my son was hyped up on the cake i made so don't count on your nephew sleeping through all of it. keep it simple and fun. we had squirt guns and the hose to entertain you younger kids. for food do burgers, hot dogs, and grilled chicken. ask other family members to bring their favorite picnic food to help with the food cost.the one thing i did splurge on was the plates and napkins. have fun and good luck.

just have something in back yard. maybe pizza homemade or chicken nuggets, do some smal blowups that u can find at a store thats cheap

I would just do like a little family gathering.

My nephew will be turning 1 on the 13th of June. I do not want to do anything extravagant because he is only turning 1 and he would most likely sleep through it and only eat cake. Since he is turning 1, I still want to do something special. Do you have any ideas?
