If it's what you want to do... do it. No one can stop you.
I started dance when I was 16 years old for the very first time. It took me about 2 days to catch up with everyone else, but now I'm a naturel! Try it! You never know what might happen! It never hurts to try!
A lot of people try to be good at these things like sports as a profession. If you start this late your chances of going pro will be slimmed majorly but anything can happen give it a shot!!!
how can u be to old to join any sports? if you are concerned with your joint condition i recommend swimming as it helps with any conditions that you have. to be honest you can do any sport as long as you know your limit my sister dislocates her knee alot so its weak but she goes to dancing lessons three times a week and can do all sorts of moves. so pick a sport and have fun with it :)
I am 16 and a half (girl) and I am a fairly fit person. I workout pretty much everyday. I was never involved in sports when I was younger because my parents didn't want me to play any contact sports due to a joint condition…I tended to be a rather fragile child when it came to my joints. So, instead I played the piano. I have played golf. I played in a couple of tourneys when I was 3 and 4, but I faded out of playing. I began to play tennis when I was 12, but I ended up having to stop because of my health yet again. Anyway, I am really interested in starting to play tennis again and maybe get back into golf. Is it possible for me to get really good before I go off to college in a couple years if I put a lot of effort in? I am a very dedicated person, so once I start I never like to give up. For tennis I don't know if I would be able to get lessons during the school year, but probably in the summer. And golf, my dad is a really good golf player (he was offered full scholarships from schools but pursued other things) so he would be teaching me. I really like sports, but like I said I have never really been involved in sports. Do I have a chance?
