What level competition can he fight? The top level fighters, even at domestic level would be embarrassed to have his name on their record and the fights wouldn't be marketable. The only fighters I think would fight him are up and comers with a few four round wins looking to step up a little bit. If he can get past them then we will see but I think he is finished at top level.
How will it all end? He will probably end up like Danny Williams is currently, going from loss to loss in small venues in Europe against fighters you and I have never heard of. Redemption is unlikely.
Maybe Harrisons' money was lost in the downfall of Cypress.
If i was Audley Harrisons' handler and he chooses to fight on ,i would give him a couple of easy fights first to build his stock up a little bit first ,then put him in there in another big fight.
Hi Eddie I posted same thing without spotting yours! Man this guy has no shame!! I dont know whats bringing him back,he is never going to get a top fight ever again and the money for fighting low level opposition will be very poor. He would be better off getting a job as a bouncer or get into bodyguard work if its cash he is stuck for.
yeah boxers always say they are going to retire many reasons like injury or pride what makes a man go or stay I cant count how many times ricky hatton said he left for sure then comes back only for another loss..
lol....you cant trust a retired boxer....audley can still get some wins against relatively mediocre/over the hill world level fighters and european level fighters....if nothing else he can bolster his record....and its something to do...
AND the JOURNEY CONTINUES.....
haha
So... Audley Harrison has changed his mind about retiring from boxing??
He is seeking an immediate return to the ring, and wishes to ''climb the mountain'' one more time.
There is an old saying in boxing - 'The boxer is the last too know when it's time to hang em up''
Maybe it's professional pride, maybe it's not wanting to go out on a knockout... Maybe the fire still burns within...??
Whatever it is.. I can see only pain and humiliation for Harrison.
Why does Harrison feel a need to return to the ring?
What level competition can he fight?
How will it all end.....? (Can he redeem himself??)
Opinions please....
