No he doesn't. Boxer train to punch and box. They don't set up their stance to defend kicks(high or low) they have 0 ability to defend or stop take downs. People are also quick and stupid to ignore an absolute massive part of boxing defense is in the weight of the gloves.
What passes for a clinch in boxing is quite honestly remedial compared to MMA with the likes of JuJitstu, Judo, Muay Thai, Roman Greco wrestling etc.
Boxers talk enormous amounts of **** about MMA because they know two things. 1, after Mayweather(the last of the REAL ppv draws) calls it a day the already present and massive decline of boxing will worsen and 2, the best boxer in the world has 0 defense to fight even a mediocre MMA grappler.
Broner is making a name in trash talk as he knows nobody cares about him in ting.
By definition, a sport is...
an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment.
By that definition MMA is a sport. It's not a sport I follow, but its more of a sport than golf. For the record, Broner did apologize for those comments (saw it on Facebook and Twitter). It's just not a sport that appeals to me.
No, of course AB is wrong.
MMA is a real sport, they're athletes and prizefighters, just like Broner and every other high level boxer is.
His argument made no sense, Broner clearly doesn't know much about it, so he shouldn't really be speaking on it.
but im a amateur mma fighter and ill kick his *** in a street fight. and ya theres tons of fighters that are great that you dont follow
He's just trying to copy mayweather

Does he have a point? Right now I only follow Jon Jnes, Dominck Cruz, Anthony Pettis and Jose Aldo. Don't think anyone could do what they do.
U agree with Broner?
