make a grapes romanoff with out the alcohol mix grape sour cream brown sugar and OJ. easy to make carries well and very tasty

I would go with several types of pies, fruit salad too and make sure you have ice to keep things on. You could simply use a cooler which makes for easy transport and use a pie container that is 'contained' as in no saran wrap or foil but an actual container for a pie.

regular cookies again easy to serve but does require a bit more time than bar cookies.
Looking for something simple but would be a big hit as a dessert for about 70 people at an outdoor BBQ. Preferably something that they can just grab off the serving dish and won't melt and is easy to transport. Any ideas?
