You can also make your party more memorable and fun by having everyone create their own hand painted & glitter t-shirts ! Try to get everyone's correct size and get plain white ones. It's best to do outdoors. Each of your guests will have a unique and creative lasting memory to keep from your special day for quite sometime ! Just Google all the supplies you'll need and have a blast !
My daughter's best friend went to visit her a few weeks ago and brought her t-shirt's that she created when they were 5, 8 and 16 years old.
They both are 28 today ~ what a wonderful moment they had to rekindle all those wonderful memories from their past.
You have to start with the guest list. First and foremost!! First make and decide upon a limit. Once you get that send the invites out, that way you can gauge around how many people will be attending. From there you can move onto the amounts of food. Like you said you want enough.
Maybe hire out a hall, that way you have the hall to a certain time, you can clean up the next day and there will be no neighbours to annoy. Also that means your parents don't have to worry about people running anything. However, if that goes over your budget maybe see if there is a close friend or family member that will be happy to have the party there.
I love themed parties too. I had a Bollywood themed 16th and it was fantastic!
For years since my 16th birthday, I've wanted to have another nice, party, get together or what have you for my birthday. This year, for my 19th birthday, I wanted to have a party with all my friends and some family, my little sister's 17th birthday is about 3 days after mine so I was thinking we could combine the two - either that or celebrate hers on the weekend. I just want to end everyone's summer with an awesome party!
I want to have a 'house' party (which I can fund myself, don't have a budget) - but I don't want to have this party at my parents' house because it's too small for the volume of people I want to invite and also we live in an apartment so that would be very inconsiderate and disrespectful to invite a bunch of people over and play loud music all night long. I was also thinking a big enough house so that if my friends do get drunk they can just crash until the morning if they don't want to call a cab.
I wanted to do a theme 90s theme - I love themes and I know some people love themes and will actually come dressed for the theme and if some don't I won't really care. I want the food to be simple (chips, dips, wings, pizza, stuff like that) I want to have enough so that people won't leave my party and go to a restaurant or something, I'll feel offended. I'm expecting to invite at least 150 people (the people I'm actually inviting plus the people they might bring). I live in Miami so I have a ton of options but I don't know where to start! I was just going to give up and have my party at a club that allows 18 and over and maybe have a dinner the next day for the people who don't really go to clubs. What to do, where to start!?
