Mosley would be doped up on everything the BALCO lab could provide him with. This would enable him to win the fight
I like Pernell in this one, truth be told Whitaker beat DeLa Hoya far more convincingly than Shane did, but the scorekeepers robbed Whitaker. I was there at ringside for that one, and Whitaker won eight rounds with a knockdown of Oscar but Oscar somehow still got the decision. I don't recall Shane ever knocking Oscar down in their fights, and both were razor thin decisions. At 135 when Shane was at his peak, I think he would have beat Floyd, but I honestly believe Pernell Whitaker was better than both Mosely and Mayweather.
Whitaker UD. Mosley is great at whooping on brawlers but cant see him doing it to someone as crafty and slick as whitaker. Whitaker takes but he gets rocked a couple of times
I vote for Mosley, although it is a very intriguing matchup. At lightweight, Mosely was not just an excellent boxer and had excellent speed, he could really punch. I think for a somewhat more defense-minded guy like Pernell, it would be too much,.
This fight would be better at 135, but anyway I'd still go with Whitaker.
Whitaker by a UD. It would be a great fight. Whitaker's defense would be the difference.
Pernell because he can't be touched.
