The barbeque idea sounds great. Barbeques always work great for us teens. Its simple to plan and yet enjoyable. You all can prepare the bbq items together. Sounds like a blast. OR you can all go to an amusement park and spend the day. It will be cheaper if everyone pays for themselves. Either way, happy birthday :)

a backyard bbq sounds like fun. if you can get a slip-n-slide and water balloons as well and tell evreyone to wear swimsuits under their clothes. also you can have water guns and tell people to bring their own. the theme can be water wars

okay, so im turning 17 in about 2 months and i wanna do something since i didnt have a sweet 16th. so far ive thought of it with about 10-15 people and i have a small house so not house party material, and my backyard is pretty big but its all grass no hard ground for dancing and all. i have about 2 ideas so far but i need to be open with these ideas; 1) pizza & junk and movie thing and 2) a BBQ in my backyard and all ! and i do prefer it to be at my home instead of going out but im open for any ideas... except no alcohol and there will be boys and girls and possibly an older supervisor ! :)
